We have updated this Privacy Policy to reflect that we no longer use PostHog for product and web analytics. 1. Overview
Mien ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website mien.works. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit or interact with our site, how it is used, and your rights in relation to it.
This is primarily an informational website for a web engineering service. We do not operate user accounts or process payments. We do offer two optional ways to interact with us that may involve limited personal information: a contact form and an AI-powered chat assistant ("Senty"). We only receive the information you choose to provide through these tools, as described in Section 2. We do not sell personal information.
This policy is intended to be consistent with the data protection laws of the ASEAN member states whose residents may access this site, to the extent those laws apply to a website that collects only the limited personal data described in this policy. As a Philippine-based service, this policy is grounded in Philippine law and is additionally intended to be consistent with:
- Philippines - Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (primary jurisdiction)
- Viet Nam - Law No. 91/2025/QH15 on Personal Data Protection (the "PDPL"), effective 1 January 2026, together with its implementing Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP
- Singapore - the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (No. 26 of 2012), as amended
- Malaysia - the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended by the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024

Several of these laws have extraterritorial effect and may apply to the processing of personal data of individuals located in the relevant country regardless of where the processing takes place. Because this site collects only the limited personal data you voluntarily provide (see Sections 2 and 3), the substantive obligations under these laws fall on us together with our infrastructure and service providers, as described below.
2. Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it through one of the optional tools below. You do not need to provide any personal data to browse this site.
If you submit our contact form, we process the information you enter: your first name, last name, e-mail address, an optional phone number, the type of service you are interested in, whether you identify as an individual or a small business, and the content of your message. This information is transmitted to a serverless function running on Cloudflare's infrastructure (see Section 3.3) and is used solely to review and respond to your inquiry. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
2.2 Senty AI Chat Assistant
Our site includes an optional AI chat assistant named Senty. If you choose to use it, the messages you type are sent to Cloudflare's Workers AI service (see Section 3.4) to generate a response. Your recent messages in a conversation are kept temporarily in your browser to give the assistant context; they are not stored in a database by us. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat. Treat it as an informational tool, not a secure or confidential channel.
2.3 Technical Data
Our infrastructure provider may process limited technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and request metadata) as part of normal operations and aggregate, privacy-preserving site analytics (such as page views and referrers), as described in Section 3.
2.4 Facebook and E-mail
If you contact us through Facebook Messenger or via e-mail, any information you provide is governed by Facebook's Privacy Policy or your e-mail provider's terms (and not by this policy).
3. Infrastructure and Service Providers
This site is hosted on and served through Cloudflare's network and uses a small number of additional service providers described below. By visiting or interacting with this site, certain technical or submitted data may be processed by these providers.
3.1 CDN & Pages
This website is deployed and served via Cloudflare Pages and distributed through the Cloudflare CDN. As part of routing and delivering web traffic, Cloudflare's infrastructure processes standard network data such as IP addresses, browser type, and request metadata. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's own Privacy Policy.
3.2 Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand site traffic in aggregate. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-preserving: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individual users, and does not track visitors across sites. The data collected (page views, referrers, and general geographic region) is aggregated and contains no personally identifiable information linked to individual visitors.

We do not use any other analytics service. We previously used PostHog for product and web analytics; that integration has been removed entirely, and no PostHog code runs on this site. We do not use session replay, heatmaps, or any tool that records your screen, mouse movements, scrolling, or keystrokes.
Submissions from our contact form are handled by a Cloudflare Pages Function, a serverless function running on Cloudflare's infrastructure. The function validates your submission and routes your inquiry to us so that we can respond. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
3.4 AI Chat Assistant (Workers AI)
The Senty chat assistant is powered by a large language model hosted on Cloudflare Workers AI. The messages you send to the assistant are processed by Cloudflare's Workers AI to generate a response. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information with the assistant.
4. International Data Transfers
Mien is based in the Philippines, but the infrastructure provider we rely on operates globally. In plain terms, this means some of the limited data described in this policy is processed on servers located outside the Philippines.
Does Cloudflare process data outside the Philippines? Yes. Cloudflare runs a global network, and when you visit the site your request is normally served by whichever Cloudflare data center is nearest to you, which may be inside or outside the Philippines. Your contact form submissions and your Senty chat messages are handled on Cloudflare's global infrastructure and are therefore likely to be processed outside the Philippines.
What safeguards protect these transfers? The main protection is contractual. Cloudflare makes the same data-protection commitments to all of its customers through its Data Processing Addendum. Where Cloudflare moves personal data across borders, it relies on the European Union Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), a widely recognised set of legally binding contract terms for international data transfers, together with additional technical and organisational security measures, and for transfers into the United States it is also certified under the EU-U.S., Swiss-U.S., and UK Data Privacy Framework.
How are the transfers protected in practice? On top of these contractual terms, your data is encrypted while in transit (using HTTPS/TLS) and while stored by these providers, and access to it is restricted to those who need it. We ourselves do not transfer your data to anyone other than the infrastructure provider named in Section 3.
5. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed, and each of our providers applies its own retention limits to the technical data it processes. In plain terms:
- Contact form. We keep the details you submit through the contact form only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle and follow up on your inquiry, and we do not reuse them for any other purpose.
- Senty chat. Your conversation with Senty is held only temporarily in your own browser, to give the assistant context during the chat. It is not stored in any database by us, and it is cleared as soon as you refresh or leave the page.
- Workers AI (the model behind Senty). Cloudflare does not publish a fixed retention period for Workers AI. What Cloudflare does state is that it processes each request and then discards it: it does not retain your prompts or the model's responses beyond handling the request, does not use your inputs or outputs to train its models or improve its services without consent, and does not share them with other customers. We do not save Senty's inputs or outputs to any Cloudflare storage product (such as R2, KV, or D1); if any such data were ever stored there, it would then be retained according to that storage product's own rules.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics. Aggregate web-analytics data is retained by Cloudflare for up to 30 days, after which it is no longer available.
Retention periods set by our providers are controlled by those providers and can change; the figures above reflect our understanding at the date of this policy.

This site contains links to third-party websites and resources. Once you leave mien.works by following one of these links, you are subject to the privacy policy of that third-party site. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the privacy practices or content of external sites.

This website does not set first-party cookies for tracking, and our web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) does not use cookies, so no analytics cookies are set. Cloudflare's infrastructure may set strictly functional technical cookies (such as __cf_bm) as part of bot management and DDoS protection. These cookies are functional only and are governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. They do not track you for advertising purposes.
8. Your Rights
For the limited personal data you provide directly through our contact form or chat assistant, you may exercise applicable data subject rights (such as access, correction, and deletion) by contacting us using the details in Section 12. For technical data processed by our infrastructure provider on our behalf, requests should be directed to Cloudflare under its own data subject request procedures.
The data protection laws of several ASEAN member states grant residents specific rights over their personal data. A general (non-exhaustive) summary is set out below. In each case, requests relating to data you submitted directly to us should be directed to us, and requests relating to technical data processed through our infrastructure provider should be directed to that provider under its own procedures.

Under the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 91/2025/QH15) and Decree No. 356/2025/ND-CP, you have rights including the right to be informed, the right to give or withhold consent (and to withdraw it), the right to access and correct your data, the right to request deletion or restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge complaints and seek compensation. This framework took effect on 1 January 2026, replacing the earlier Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP.
🇸🇬 Singapore
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, you have rights including the right to access and correct your personal data and the right to withdraw consent. The Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) administers this law.
🇲🇾 Malaysia
Under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (as amended in 2024), you have rights including the right to access, the right to correct, the right to withdraw consent, the right to data portability, and the right to limit processing for direct marketing. Under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019), you have rights including the right to be informed, the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent. We do not knowingly direct this site to, or solicit visitors from, the European Economic Area (EEA) or European Union, the United Kingdom, California or other United States jurisdictions, Brazil, or comparable jurisdictions with comprehensive data protection regimes. Our audience and services are focused on the ASEAN region described in Section 1.
Nevertheless, because this website collects only the limited personal data that you voluntarily provide (see Sections 2 and 3), we believe its practices are likely consistent with the core requirements of the major data protection laws of those jurisdictions, including:

7. Mga Cookie

10. Privacy ng mga Bata

1. Tổng quan

2. Dữ liệu Chúng tôi Thu thập

2.1 Biểu mẫu Liên hệ
Nếu bạn gửi biểu mẫu liên hệ của chúng tôi, chúng tôi xử lý thông tin bạn nhập vào: tên, họ, địa chỉ e-mail, số điện thoại tùy chọn, loại dịch vụ bạn quan tâm, việc bạn tự nhận là cá nhân hay doanh nghiệp nhỏ, và nội dung tin nhắn của bạn. Thông tin này được truyền đến một hàm serverless chạy trên hạ tầng của Cloudflare (xem Mục 3.3) và chỉ được sử dụng để xem xét và phản hồi yêu cầu của bạn. Chúng tôi không sử dụng thông tin đó cho mục đích quảng cáo, và chúng tôi không bán thông tin đó.
2.2 Trợ lý Trò chuyện AI Senty
Trang web của chúng tôi bao gồm một trợ lý trò chuyện AI tùy chọn có tên Senty. Nếu bạn chọn sử dụng, các tin nhắn bạn nhập sẽ được gửi đến dịch vụ Workers AI của Cloudflare (xem Mục 3.4) để tạo ra phản hồi. 2.4 Facebook và E-mail

3. Hạ tầng và Nhà cung cấp Dịch vụ
Trang web này được lưu trữ và phân phối thông qua mạng lưới của Cloudflare và sử dụng một số nhà cung cấp dịch vụ bổ sung được mô tả dưới đây. Khi truy cập hoặc tương tác với trang web này, một số dữ liệu kỹ thuật hoặc dữ liệu bạn gửi có thể được các nhà cung cấp này xử lý.
3.1 CDN & Pages
Trang web này được triển khai và phân phối qua Cloudflare Pages và phân phối thông qua Cloudflare CDN. Là một phần của việc định tuyến và phân phối lưu lượng web, hạ tầng của Cloudflare xử lý dữ liệu mạng tiêu chuẩn như địa chỉ IP, loại trình duyệt, và siêu dữ liệu yêu cầu. Việc xử lý này chịu sự điều chỉnh của Chính sách Quyền riêng tư của chính Cloudflare.
3.2 Phân tích Web
Chúng tôi sử dụng Cloudflare Web Analytics để hiểu lưu lượng truy cập trang web ở dạng tổng hợp. Cloudflare Web Analytics được thiết kế để bảo vệ quyền riêng tư: nó không sử dụng cookie, không lấy dấu vân tay (fingerprint) từng người dùng, và không theo dõi khách truy cập qua các trang web khác nhau. Dữ liệu được thu thập (lượt xem trang, nguồn giới thiệu, và khu vực địa lý chung) được tổng hợp và không chứa thông tin nhận dạng cá nhân liên kết với từng khách truy cập.

Chúng tôi không sử dụng bất kỳ dịch vụ phân tích nào khác. Trước đây chúng tôi từng sử dụng PostHog cho phân tích sản phẩm và phân tích web; tích hợp đó đã được gỡ bỏ hoàn toàn, và không còn mã PostHog nào chạy trên trang web này. Chúng tôi không sử dụng session replay, heatmap, hay bất kỳ công cụ nào ghi lại màn hình, chuyển động chuột, cuộn trang, hay thao tác gõ phím của bạn.
3.3 Xử lý Biểu mẫu Liên hệ
Các biểu mẫu liên hệ được gửi đi được xử lý bởi một Cloudflare Pages Function, một hàm serverless chạy trên hạ tầng của Cloudflare. Hàm này xác thực nội dung bạn gửi và chuyển yêu cầu của bạn đến chúng tôi để chúng tôi có thể phản hồi. Việc xử lý này chịu sự điều chỉnh của Chính sách Quyền riêng tư của Cloudflare.
3.4 Trợ lý Trò chuyện AI (Workers AI)
Trợ lý trò chuyện Senty được hỗ trợ bởi một mô hình ngôn ngữ lớn được lưu trữ trên Cloudflare Workers AI. Các tin nhắn bạn gửi cho trợ lý được Workers AI của Cloudflare xử lý để tạo ra phản hồi. Việc xử lý này chịu sự điều chỉnh của Chính sách Quyền riêng tư của Cloudflare. Vui lòng tránh chia sẻ thông tin cá nhân nhạy cảm với trợ lý.
4. Chuyển Dữ liệu Quốc tế
Mien có trụ sở tại Philippines, nhưng nhà cung cấp hạ tầng mà chúng tôi sử dụng hoạt động trên toàn cầu. Nói một cách đơn giản, điều này có nghĩa là một phần dữ liệu hạn chế được mô tả trong chính sách này được xử lý trên các máy chủ đặt bên ngoài Philippines.
Cloudflare có xử lý dữ liệu bên ngoài Philippines không? Có. Cloudflare vận hành một mạng lưới toàn cầu, và khi bạn truy cập trang web, yêu cầu của bạn thường được phục vụ bởi trung tâm dữ liệu Cloudflare gần bạn nhất, có thể nằm trong hoặc ngoài Philippines. Nội dung biểu mẫu liên hệ bạn gửi và các tin nhắn trò chuyện Senty của bạn được xử lý trên hạ tầng toàn cầu của Cloudflare và do đó có khả năng được xử lý bên ngoài Philippines.
Những biện pháp bảo vệ nào bảo vệ các lần chuyển dữ liệu này? Biện pháp bảo vệ chính là mang tính hợp đồng. Cloudflare đưa ra cùng những cam kết bảo vệ dữ liệu cho tất cả khách hàng của mình thông qua Data Processing Addendum của họ. Khi Cloudflare chuyển dữ liệu cá nhân qua biên giới, họ dựa vào Điều khoản Hợp đồng Tiêu chuẩn của Liên minh Châu Âu (Standard Contractual Clauses, SCCs), một bộ điều khoản hợp đồng ràng buộc về mặt pháp lý được công nhận rộng rãi cho việc chuyển dữ liệu quốc tế, cùng với các biện pháp bảo mật kỹ thuật và tổ chức bổ sung, và đối với các lần chuyển vào Hoa Kỳ, họ cũng được chứng nhận theo EU-U.S., Swiss-U.S., và UK Data Privacy Framework.
Các lần chuyển dữ liệu được bảo vệ như thế nào trong thực tế? Ngoài các điều khoản hợp đồng này, dữ liệu của bạn được mã hóa khi truyền đi (sử dụng HTTPS/TLS) và khi được các nhà cung cấp này lưu trữ, và quyền truy cập vào dữ liệu đó được hạn chế cho những người cần đến nó. Bản thân chúng tôi không chuyển dữ liệu của bạn cho bất kỳ ai ngoài nhà cung cấp hạ tầng được nêu tên trong Mục 3.
5. Lưu giữ Dữ liệu
Chúng tôi chỉ lưu giữ dữ liệu cá nhân trong thời gian cần thiết, và mỗi nhà cung cấp của chúng tôi áp dụng các giới hạn lưu giữ riêng đối với dữ liệu kỹ thuật mà họ xử lý. Nói một cách đơn giản:
- Biểu mẫu liên hệ. Chúng tôi chỉ lưu giữ các thông tin bạn gửi qua biểu mẫu liên hệ trong thời gian hợp lý cần thiết để xử lý và theo dõi yêu cầu của bạn, và chúng tôi không tái sử dụng chúng cho bất kỳ mục đích nào khác.
- Trò chuyện Senty. Cuộc trò chuyện của bạn với Senty chỉ được lưu tạm thời trong trình duyệt của chính bạn, để cung cấp ngữ cảnh cho trợ lý trong khi trò chuyện. Nó không được chúng tôi lưu trữ trong bất kỳ cơ sở dữ liệu nào, và nó bị xóa ngay khi bạn làm mới hoặc rời khỏi trang.
- Workers AI (mô hình đằng sau Senty). Cloudflare không công bố thời gian lưu giữ cố định cho Workers AI. Điều Cloudflare có nêu rõ là họ xử lý từng yêu cầu rồi loại bỏ nó: họ không lưu giữ các câu lệnh (prompt) của bạn hoặc các phản hồi của mô hình ngoài việc xử lý yêu cầu, không sử dụng đầu vào hoặc đầu ra của bạn để huấn luyện các mô hình của họ hoặc cải thiện dịch vụ của họ mà không có sự đồng ý, và không chia sẻ chúng với các khách hàng khác. Chúng tôi không lưu đầu vào hoặc đầu ra của Senty vào bất kỳ sản phẩm lưu trữ nào của Cloudflare (chẳng hạn như R2, KV, hoặc D1); nếu dữ liệu như vậy từng được lưu ở đó, nó sẽ được lưu giữ theo các quy tắc riêng của sản phẩm lưu trữ đó.

Các thời gian lưu giữ do các nhà cung cấp của chúng tôi đặt ra được kiểm soát bởi các nhà cung cấp đó và có thể thay đổi; các con số ở trên phản ánh hiểu biết của chúng tôi tại thời điểm của chính sách này.
6. Liên kết Bên ngoài
